Monica Romagnoli has graduated from Aalto University as an interior architect. Originally from Italy, she has founded her studio in Helsinki and now shares her time between the two countries. She works with variety of projects from large scale of interior architecture to the smallest details of jewelry design.
“Working with jewelry, glass and ceramics have brought a new way for me to express my creativity. I’m an interior designer, and exploring the uniqueness of hand-crafted objects as a maker and curator of both the content and context of the creations is fascinating. I’m deeply interested in history and anthropology, which influence my work a lot. I strive to create complex design outcomes through simple and minimalistic shapes."
