Didi NG Wing Yin is a Helsinki-based artist and designer from Hong Kong. He works across the fields between furniture design, spatial design and art. His experiments in woodworking focus on examining the possible balance between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary art. Using wood as the core material, he aims to create harmonious compositions with textures, shapes, and colours. In addition, he always tries to concern the primitive and natural properties of the material. His goal is to connect audiences through conceptual and contextual creation to embrace traditional material and craft in a new perspective.
