Why do delivery methods vary from product to product?

The UU Market operates without a central storage. The products are delivered directly from the makers to the customers. We want to make orders as easy as possible for both parties. The price of the delivery is determined by the delivery service according to the destination and the size and weight of the package.

Why do some products have a longer delivery time?

Our makers do not usually make products in stock, as in industrial production. Each product is made to order. For example: A carpenter in Tampere chooses the wood for your order, and the glass blower in Nuutajärvi will spend a day in the glass studio making the product you ordered. The delivery time is the time the maker needs to make the product carefully with their passion and craftsmanship.

Is it possible to order a custom-made product or make wishes?

Yes, you can! Most of our products are made-to-order products and can be tailored to each customer's wishes. Please contact our customer service and we will forward your wishes. 

Why do I have to pay shipping costs separately for different items?

UU Market does not have a central product storage. The products will be delivered directly from the maker to you. Our makers work all around Finland and therefore every delivery must be done separately. 

Can I change or return my product?

UU Market customers have a 14-day exchange and return right under the Finnish Consumer Protection Law. Returned products must be unused and shipped with the original packaging. Replacement and Return Rights do not apply to custom-made products. If you would like to change or return a product made according to your wishes, please contact our customer service and we’ll see what we can do.

The price of returned products will be refunded to your credit or debit card. The refund will be paid as soon as we receive and inspect the returned product. The shipping costs are deducted from the refundable amount.

What if the product was damaged during delivery?

If you notice any damage in the package before opening it, immediately inform the driver. If you have opened the package before the damage is detected, immediately inform our Customer Service of any damage.

Defective or damaged products must be notified immediately, but no later than 24 hours after receiving the product. We replace the defective or transport-damaged product primarily with a new equivalent product. If this is not possible, the customer will be credited with the full amount of money they have paid.

The defect of the product or its damage must be properly defined and documented. Defective or damaged product must be sent to us for inspection. UU Market does not deliver a new product or credit the product before it can be verified.
