In Symbiosis

'In Symbiosis' is a sculptural lighting object, that captures the eye. Combining together dark black wood, hand carved copper shades and the free blown glass parts, it's a true centerpiece. It's a composition of round shapes, contrasted by the vertical wooden frame.

It reflects the symbiotic nature of the process and end result and the collaboration of designer and glassblowers respectively. The artist and designer Ville Auvinen has shifted his approach from industrial furniture design towards more unique art pieces.
