Laura is a visual artist, illustrator, author and textile designer from Lohja, Finland. She splits her time between Berlin and Helsinki. She’s specialized in experimental drawing, wildlife-themed works and children’s culture. She’s currently working on new children’s books and other creative projects in her studio in Berlin. Her inspiration comes from urban life, traveling, people and other creatures she has met along the way, and most of all from the nature around us. For her work is to play - she views her work practice as an endless quest for more more spontaneous, intuitive, fun and energetic ways to draw.
