Janne Rahunen (b. 1987) lives and works in the famous glassvillage Nuutajärvi. He graduated from the Nuutajärvi Glass School in 2014 and ever since has been active in the glass industry. Rahunen’s working is based on mastering different glass techniques and for the implementation of exhibitions. He is especially known for his reticello works and large-scale works in which he combines organic mirror-glass sculptures and natural stones to build different sized groups. Since 2022 Rahunen has worked as a freelance artist.
